.Asteroid 2008 TC3 - Almahata Sitta (Sudan)

Dear collectors & friends,

I am glad to be able to present to you some specimens of the meteorite Almahatta Sitta/Asteroid 2008 TC3 on my homepage. In total, the available amount is 280 g. Among the material there are some outstanding individuals.
.
2008 TC3 is the first asteroid which after its discovery collided with the earth and came down as meteorite in the North of Sudan. I was totally captivated by this event. My fascination was even bigger when I saw the first pictures of this highly interesting meteorite.
.
Via the following links you can obtain comprehensive information from first detection of the asteroid up to detailed analyses of the meteorite.

Best collector’s greetings
Siegfried
